Meet Talent Ayebare!

13th Oct 2016

Cottesloe Beach House Stays has donated funds to pay for this young girl to attend school in the western region of Uganda. This donation will provide 3 terms of schooling for her plus uniform, pencils and paper. She is very excited to be starting school after not being able to afford to go. There will also be some monies left over from our first donation which will go to providing food for her village.

The theme for this year's International Day of the Girl (11 October) is “Girls' Progress = Goals' Progress: What Counts for Girls”. The International Day of the Girl Child mission is to help stimulate global enthusiasm for goals to improved girls’ lives, providing a chance for them to show leadership and fulfil their potential.  Cottesloe Beach House Stays would like to be involved to take action to progress rights and opportunities for girls in every country.

This was made possible thanks to Frank from the Kishanda Cattle Keeping Project.  This project aims to raise money to educate the village children, support the malnourished and teach mothers’ skills. If you are interested in getting involved with this project, contact our office and we can provide you with more information about how to get involved.
