The Beverley Heroic is an annual event that is well established and has had many challengers over the years. Slow down and step back in time. Historical towns, historical bikes and some beautiful country side. The race celebrate history as a lot of people love the old bikes. The vision of the event is "a recreational bike event for all bikes and especially old style bikes that present a challenge to be represented annually, encourage preservation of heritage, foster friendship and leaves a sense of achievement".

The event is over the 3rd and 4th October. The race starts at the Beverley Town Hall and riders go through Beverley,York, Northam and back to Beverley. Starts are in groups of 20-30 and you are able to select which speed you will be going (fast, slow, single speed or heroic). The event cost $55 for Cycling Australia members or $70 for non members. To register for the event you just register online, choose your start group, tell us about your bike, dob in a volunteer and keep your email entry confirmation and present on the day. Safety is of huge concern, so please look to follow the safety rules. 

Apart from just the riding there are events occurring after the race. The events include afternoon tea, a retro bike show (a prize for the best entrant) and bike movies will be shown for free.
