Wildlife Zoo at Fremantle Markets 

Date: Every Friday in October

One of Perth’s leading wildlife petting zoos comes alive every Friday at 12:00pm at the iconic Fremantle Markets. The petting zoo offers a rare opportunity to get close with native Australian animals including koalas, snakes & dingoes.
 

Elmar's Oktoberfest 2018 

Date: Saturday October 13th
Location: Elmar's in the Valley - 8731 West Swan Road, Henley Brook WA 6055

How does a day of live music, beer and outdoor fun sound to you? Elmar’s in the Valley Oktoberfest gives you the chance to sit back, relax, and enjoy Germany’s well known festival right here in the Swan Valley.

Mother Clucka Fried Chicken Festival

Date: October 14, 11am to 10pm
Location: Badlands Bar, 1/3 Aberdeen St, Northbridge 

Don’t miss out on being part of Perth’s first fried chicken battle. Six dealers, one day and only one crowned champion. Get down to Badlands Bar in Northbridge and enjoy $2 fried chicken whilst casting your vote on the best chicken battler in Perth. Apparently it’s meant to be epic. 
 

UnWined Subiaco Festival

Date: October 27 & 28, 11:30am to 5:30pm
Location: Markets Square, Subiaco

The fantastic UnWined Subiaco brings the best of West Australia’s wine, craft beer, cider and spirits into one place. With over 70 businesses from all over WA attending & showcasing their product, you'll have the chance to chat face to face with the winemakers and most importantly, taste test their goods. You can also snack on local produce alongside those many bevies.
