What's Happening This November?

The weather is warming up! This is fantastic news for those who are visiting Perth as it means that you are able to get down to the beach and not have to worry about getting caught in the rain or being blown away by the wind.

Cottesloe in spring is spectacular. The sky is picture perfect blue, the water is crystal clear and the weather will start to warm up. You can enjoy many walks or bike rides along the coast, have a picnic at twilight, collect shells and for those who are brave enough, take a dip in the ocean. It will definitely be invigorating.

If you want to stay on dry land, the spring days are fantastic for a quick round of golf or a trip down Claremont Quarter. What more the Royal show will be in town! Just be sure to get out and enjoy the sunshine!

Elizabeth Quay Floating Bar- 28 October- 30 December

 Floating, free and full of fun! The Elizabeth Quay floating bar is somewhere different and totally unique to spend your Friday night. It's free to come on board every Friday to have a drink and enjoy the fully licensed bar. The boat departs from Barrack Street Jetty every 30 minutes and returns every 30 minutes as well- stay for one trip or continue on for as long as you want.  

Fremantle Festival 2016- 28 October- 06 November

Fremantle Festival is a ten day arts and cultural festival that takes place in key venues across the Fremantle area.  The festival hub is going on around the Fremantle Town Hall as well as selected key venues like the Fremantle Arts Centre. The festival presents a range of high quality and thought provoking ticketed and free shows from presenters like Waleed Aly and Clementine Ford.

CowParade Perth 2016- 01 November- 14 December

CowParade is the largest and most successful public art event in the world. A herd of 40 life-sized fibreglass cows, painted by talented Australian artists and designers, will be on display in various locations around Perth for six weeks from November to mid December.

Festival Fromage-  11-13 November

Calling all cheese lovers– a festival centred all about cheese is heading to Perth! Bring friends and family along with you to a dairy packed day that promises to find the best cheese for each person. To pair with the cheese, there will be wine, spirits and beers. A tasty day out!

 Arcadia Australia25-27 November

 A first for Perth– Arcadia is arriving. This immersive experience has been created from recycled military machinery and industrial components to great this immersive experience. Each show at Elizabeth Quay will feature a varied mix of artists.
